When the world was first formed it was all water until the mistake was seen and rectified and space was made available for carbon based activities like hop growing, barley growing, vineyards, cricket grounds, coal mines and other life enhancing activities.

Another carbon material is diamond crystal, the basis of sound relationships between the male and female human organisms on planet earth.

Together with several other elements carbon dioxide plays an absolutely essential part in maintaining all life forms, including plant and fish life.

But we have anti-industrial lunatics, especially in Canberra, who want to eliminate carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, when in fact, it would be advantageous for all life to have up to 12 or more times CO2 than what we now have in the atmosphere.

The US Senate is yet to vote on the Obama Ration-N-Tax Scheme, the Waxman-Markey bill.

Senators are unlikely to pass it.

Dr Michael Coffman says “Implementation of the Waxman-Markey bill would seriously harm the economy of the United States, cause the unemployment of 6 million people, and substantially reduce the standard of living for every family.

“Perhaps this wrenching transformation of our society could be justified if the doom and gloom forecasts of catastrophic consequences of man-caused global warming were correct. However, over 32 thousand scientists in the US alone are now saying there is no convincing scientific evidence that man is causing global warming. Thousands of leading scientists around the world have radically changed their minds because emerging science is increasingly negating the man-caused theory.

“Science is also showing that CO2 is a miracle gas that has increased global food production by over 12 percent. It will continue to do so at an increasing rate. At best, passing the Waxman-Markey bill is not in the nation’s best interest. It is pure folly. At worst, it is insanity.

“It is all pain and no climate gain”.

The great global warming scare is over — it is well past its peak, very much a spent force, sputtering in fits and starts to a whimpering end. You may not know this yet. Or rather, you may know it but don’t want to acknowledge it until every one else does, and that won’t happen until the press, much of which also knows it, formally acknowledges it.

I know that the global warming scare is over but for the shouting because that’s what the polls show, at least those in the U.S., where unlike Canada the public is polled extensively on global warming. Most Americans don’t blame humans for climate change — they consider global warming to be a natural phenomenon.

Taxing carbon dioxide under the misguided perception that it causes temperature change is like placing a tax on ambulances because they cause vehicle accidents. Like CO2, ambulances arrive after the event.

Vehicle accidents occur and some time later ambulances arrive.

Temperature goes up and some time later CO2 goes up.

Clearly there is a parallel… Using the logic of many misguided politicians and their advisers, it would seem feasible through careful assumption-based computer modelling to show this… and build a scenario for taxing ambulances and thereby reducing vehicle accidents.

I am a concerned professional research scientist with over 30 years experience, latter part with CSIRO as a Principal Research Scientist. As my funding no longer depends on politicians, I am free to make my information and conclusions public.

We are now in the closing stages of the Cap-n-Tax debate. We need to rely on evidence and facts, not propaganda, before such crucial decisions are taken.

The real world evidence such as revealed in the ice cores suggests that the Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme is built on fraud. See this graph; click on it for a larger image:

Just one graph should be enough to kill the whole Cap-n-Tax Debate.

This graph, compiled by Ex-CSIRO scientist Dr Guy LeBlanc Smith PhD, AIG, AAPG, from data obtained from deep core drilling on the Greenland Ice Sheet, shows that all life on earth now, including polar bears, coral reefs and humans, have survived massive sea level changes and rapid and dramatic changes in earth’s temperature. There were no coal fired power stations and no gas guzzling cars to cause these changes then, and the same natural forces will change the future. Humans will need wits and resources to cope with future changes and every diversion of our resources to nonsense like Cap-n-Tax will reduce the chances that we will survive future changes.

The real danger to all life on earth is NOT warming and abundant aerial plant food (carbon dioxide) - the real threat is ICE and plant starvation.

The truth is emerging – there is not a scrap of evidence that man-made carbon dioxide causes global warming. The IPCC has been devious and incompetent. Australia should boycott all further meetings and withhold future funding. The most recent Ice Age ended about 20,000 years ago, and there was dramatic natural global warming - ice sheets melted, sea levels rose and the warming seas expelled carbon dioxide. All of these beneficial events encouraged the spread of grasslands, forests and animal and human populations over lands once covered by barren sheets of ice. None of these dramatic changes were caused by emissions from the camp fires of the Cave Men.

The Central England Temperature (CET) record, starting in 1659 and maintained by the UK Met Office, is the longest unbroken temperature record in the world. Temperature data is averaged for a number of weather stations regarded as being representative of Central England rather than measuring temperature at one arbitrary geographical point identified as the centre of England.

A Scottish statistician, Wilson Flood, has collected and analysed the 351 year CET record. Here is the comparison of the 18th Century with the 20th Century:

Wilson Flood comments:

“Summers in the second half of the 20th century were warmer than those in the first half and it could be argued that this was a global warming signal. However, the average CET summer temperature in the 18th century was 15.46 degC while that for the 20th century was 15.35 degC. Far from being warmer due to assumed global warming, comparison of actual temperature data shows that UK summers in the 20th century were cooler than those of two centuries previously.”

The Czech President, and Ex-President of the EU, Vaclav Klaus, addressing the Summer University at Aix-en-Provence, said that the Global Warming debate is not about temperature, or CO2 levels, or pollution - it is about expansion of Government controls. He commented:

“The advocates of global warming alarmism ask for an almost unprecedented expansion of government intrusion, of government intervention into our lives and of government control over us. We are pushed into accepting rules about how to live, what to do, how to behave, what to consume, what to eat, how to travel. It is unacceptable.”

“One frequent misunderstanding needs to be dispelled. People tend to confuse two conceptually different things – a rational protection of the environment and an irrational attempt to protect (or even to fight) the climate. I am very much in favour of rational efforts when it comes to the environmental protection because we have to take care of our rivers, lakes, seas, forests and air, but I resolutely reject any attempts to change – or as I frequently hear – to combat the climate.”

“The current Global Warming Debate is not about temperature or CO2 levels. It is also not part of a scientific dispute inside climatology. It is an ideological clash between those who want to change us (rather than the climate) and those who believe in freedom, markets, human ingenuity, and technical progress.”
